PRIVACY POLICY

Due to changes in the area of the protection of privacy within the European Union, introduced by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, known as “GDPR” or “RODO”), we are indicating the purposes and rules with which we process your personal information.

Who is processing your information?
The administrator of your information is The ANCHOR Foundation, headquartered at ul. Hutnicza 20C, 20-2018 Lublin, Poland, registered in the National Court Register with the number 0000724082.

Why are we processing your information?
Providing personal information is voluntary and at the same time necessary to begin cooperation with the Foundation.

In order to participate in camp/day camps/workshops, conferences or in other words contract performance (Article 6 paragraph 1b GDPR) – data collected using a form or participant card regarding a child as well as legal guardians (or an adult participant), are a result of applicable law in Poland regarding the organization of leisure activities for children and adolescents;

In order to ensure the safety of camp/day camp participants (Article 9 paragraph 2a GDPR) – this obligation is incumbent on both the leisure organizers, the leader and caretakers. It is necessary to obtain information on the participant’s health status, in order to ensure appropriate medical care;

In order to participate in the Foundation’s activities as a volunteer – data collected using a form, electronic form or volunteer agreement – for the purpose of proper organization of the work and periodic activities of the Foundation.

In order to receive information about the Foundation’s activities in the form of a newsletter or individual correspondence – data collected using a form or electronic form – to conduct correspondence, subscribe to the newsletter and conduct other informational campaigns about the Foundation’s activities.

In order to receive material help and support from the Foundation – data collected directly from interested persons, in order to provide support or help from the Foundation.

For promotional purposes (provided that the image has been authorized on the basis of the justified interest of the Foundation – Article 6 paragraph 1f) – photos and film material from camps and events organized by the Foundation are published on social networks and/or the Foundation’s website.

The KOTWICA Foundation reserves the right to send unannounced e-mails or text messages to people whose contact details it has and who have agreed to the Privacy Policy. The Foundation understands unannounced messages to include information pertaining directly to its activities (eg internal changes, events) and non-commercial letters (eg greetings, personal comments, etc.)

With whom is your information shared?
Data is transferred only to the extent necessary for the above purposes. All entities to whom personal data are made available guarantee the use of appropriate security measures and the security of personal data required by law.
In the case of camps: these will be entities providing hotel services, medical services, IT service providers, postal operators, legal services providers, insurance companies or other external subcontractors to The ANCHOR Foundation.

How long do we store your data?
Personal data of participants of camps and their guardians are stored until the end of the contract and after its termination – in accordance with applicable accounting and tax regulations, provisions for leisure activities for children and adolescents, as well as until the statute of limitations for potential claims or until the data is withdrawn – withdrawal of consent for their processing.

Personal data of volunteers are stored until the end of cooperation with a given person or until the data is deleted – withdrawal of consent for their processing.

Personal data of correspondents are stored until the data is deleted – withdrawal of consent for their processing.

Personal data of the Foundation’s charges are stored until the Foundation’s support is terminated or until the data is withdrawn – withdrawal of consent for their processing.

What rights do you have?

You can, among other things, receive information about the rules by which we process your data and to what extent we do it.
You may request the correction, deletion or limitation of the data provided.

If the processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it.
If the processing is based on a legitimate interest, you may object to such processing.

Your data will not be processed in an automated manner, including in the form of profiling, i.e. decisions that cause legal effects or substantially affect the person will not be based solely on the automatic processing of personal data and do not involve such an automatic decision.

How can you submit a complaint about the processing of data?

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body – the Office for Personal Data Protection, when you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you violates the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016:
